Paisley and The Vet....again.

We love lazy sunny afternoons spent lounging out on the porch!!! Today Paisley had to make a quick trip to the vet's office after having some blood in her pee and acting kind of funny. Good thing my mommy intuition kicked in and took her to the vet's office because after running some tests, we found out that she has a bladder infection and UTI. And of course, we couldn't leave the office without Paisley crapping on their floor. It's like her own tradition but I guess I can't blame her with all those smells there. At least she was a rockstar again and super cooperative with the doctor! Anyway, so we loaded up on a 10-day supply of antibiotics and spent the afternoon laying around and cuddling to get Paisley to feel better. I also had to get her to drink as much water as possible throughout the day (and the next 9 days!) Trying to encourage a dog to drink water is not as easy as one may think but at least she's obsessed with ice cubes so that helps! It was a relaxing afternoon and I can already tell that Paisley is bouncing back to her crazy usual self. I guess it was a much needed day of R & R for the both of us to get some loving and snugs from each other!
