Day 2: Los Portales and Gum!

Today for Day 2, I had a big tub of Eclipse gum wrapped up with a note that said, "I love your kisses but especially when they're minty fresh. You're going to need this for after dinner tonight. I'm picking you up from work and no questions asked!" Earlier in April, I had bought a Groupon deal for a local Mexican restaurant that we loooove. Los Portales has the best authentic mexican food and jumbo margaritas, mmmm! I had been saving it specifically for this because it could only be redeemed Monday-Wednesday so it worked out perfect! Dinner was delicious and it was a fun date night out for the middle of the week. It took our mind off of studying for awhile but now I can hear my books calling my name to do some more reading.....it was a fun and relaxing night while it lasted and it eased some stress for both of us!
