a special week long visit from my parents!

Today my parents got here after making the long drive up from Texas! And I'm so happy they are here to visit this week and stay through the weekend for our baby shower! My mom is a master organizer and she will definitely be tons of help to get our new place organized and looking more like a home rather than a giant storage space. I can't wait for it to be decluttered and get rid of some of the boxes! I'm also looking forward to just spending some time with Jordan and my parents because it's rare that we ever get them alone rather than having the whooole family together but I am pretty excited for all of us to be together this weekend!

Friday Funnies - 4.12.13

Oh yeah! It's Friday! And it's a fantastic and fabulous Friday because in less than 3 hours, Jordan and I will be on the road traveling to Madison to see my family for the weekend!! Whoo hoo!!!! I haven't seen my Dad since November, ugh! I also haven't seen my mom, brother, or sister since February, double ugh! So I am freaking out with excitement knowing that I get to see my family so soon and spend the whole weekend with them! Nothing specifically is planned and that's the best kind of family time! Just lots of relaxing, catching up and enjoying each other's company! I'm sure my mom and I will do some baby stuff and shopping at some point but other than that....I just can't wait to see everyone! This week surprisingly went by fast even though we have such a fun weekend planned. I feel like that never happens! Hopefully the week went by fast for all of you and I hope you each have a great weekend too and get to spend some time with those who fill your life with love and laughter! Enjoy the weekend!

I'm dreaming of Spring Break....

One short week from today and I will be leaving for Florida for my Spring Break trip to Kissimmee to spend the week volunteering at Give Kids The World Village!! Ahhh I am so sooo excited! I can't wait to enjoy a week in the sun and beautiful weather in Florida while spending time volunteering and getting to know some amazing kids and their families. And I'm lucky that I get to spend it with such an awesome group of girls while I'm there. The drive there (and back!) might be a long one but I know it will be so worth it! I can't wait!
